Mark Your Calendars!

Your annual fall fair is being planned and we can't wait to tell you all about it. Mark your calendars for Saturday October 8 from 11am-4pm at our Platte City campus. The theme is Friends Forever in Christ. It is a take-off of our school theme this year- Making Disciples for Life- coupled with the school's theater production of Friends coming in the Spring 2023. The Fall Fair will include axe throwing, a Gnome Friends Great Escape scavenger hunt, bounce houses, carnival rides for all ages, food, spirit wear and the Central Perk Coffeehouse serving up your favorite coffee drinks. Starting in mid-September, you can pre-purchase your fall fair tickets- 25 tickets for $20. Tickets purchased day of the event will be sold of $1 per ticket. Tickets will buy you carnival rides, food, drinks, and axe throwing opportunities. You can also purchase a raffle ticket, which includes a scavenger hunt ticket for $10 with a chance to win an electric tri-bike and other great prizes! Calling all parents and caregivers seeking volunteering opportunities! One way to get involved is through the OSCA Knight Watch parent organization. Knight Watch is seeking volunteers to help with monthly school activities. Check out the school calendar for event information. Contact Amy Ashelford to learn more. amy@ashelford.com

Keep an eye out as your school will be seeking volunteers to help with the Fall Fair. Volunteers are needed to run carnival rides, work the concession and ice cream stands, and sell spirit wear. If you are unable to help the day of fall fair, volunteers are also needed on October 7 for event set up. A link to sign-up will be sent through your email after Labor Day.
