Messer Joins OSCA as Teacher + Administrator

After teaching in the public school for 26 years and moon-lighting as an adjunct professor at MCC Maple Woods for the past 22 years, Lowell Messer is now an OSCA Knight! "I was excited to join OSCA as a teacher, and that was something I hoped would work out for the past several years as I finished my public school career", stated Messer, "However being an administrator was not something that was really on my radar until Superintendent Pappert approached me with the possibility."  Messer will still find himself in the classroom teaching middle and high school English, religion, and at least one elective, while focusing on campus facilities, A+ programs, and the Missouri Scholars Program.  "I am most looking forward to  the ability to talk with kids about Jesus. In public school, I always had to allow my life walk to be my witness while trying to help students find the answers to their problems. Not having to guard my witness inside the walls of the school is something I am definitely looking forward to."
