OSCA Drama Production of Friends Coming in April
This year's spring drama production will take you back almost thirty years to when we first met the Friends gang- Rachel Green, Phoebe Buffay, Monica Geller, Ross Geller, Joey Tribbiani, and Chandler Bing. The Friends comedy showed us that we can seek out and secure relationships that are life-long. We see that same concept being played out through children at OSCA.
Middle and high school students have been working on this original production since January with students being involved in all aspects of the play, including lighting design, script development, and set construction. The play has over 25 actors along with the back of the house team with many of them new to theater. But don't let this discourage you from coming out to see the play. "The students are willing to put themselves out there, hear constructive criticism, and respond with change. They are developing the greatest life-skill an employer could ask for,” stated production director, Mrs. P.
Tickets will be available for $15 starting March 14 through the school office. Show times are April 20 and 21 at 6pm at the Smithville campus. There will be opportunities to purchase front row seating, engage in prize giveaways the night of the performance and more! All set items will be sold the final night of the performance.
